What data we ask for when you book, what we use it for and how to exercise your rights.

Base text pending legal review. This document describes how online booking works today and does not replace the rental agreement signed when you pick up the vehicle. Where a policy has not been defined yet, it says so explicitly.

1.Data controller

Luxury Rent a Car, S. de R.L. de C.V., with branches in San Pedro Sula and Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

2.What data we collect

When you search for availability: location, dates and times. No personal data is needed.
When you book: first and last names, ID type and number, date of birth, email address, phone number, and your driver’s license number, issuing country and expiration date.
We do not request or store payment card details on this website.

3.What we use it for

To create and manage your booking and the rental that follows.
To verify the rental requirements: age, a valid license and identity.
To contact you about your booking.
To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

4.Who we share it with

We do not sell or transfer your data. It is shared only with providers of services we need to operate (for example, system hosting) and with authorities when the law requires it.

5.How long we keep it

Retention period pending definition by Luxury Rent a Car. Data is kept for as long as it is needed for the booking and the rental, and for the periods required by applicable law.

6.Cookies and browser storage

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
It uses its own preference cookies to remember the language you chose and the one your browser prefers, and it stores in your browser the currency you want prices shown in.
It remembers your last search (dates and location) in your browser to prefill it.
While you complete a booking, it keeps the form data only in the open tab; the data is cleared when you confirm or close the tab.

7.Your rights

You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data, or object to its use, at any of our branches. We will ask you to verify your identity before handling the request.

8.Changes to this policy

We will publish any changes here, along with the date they were made.
